My old HP 7850 printer has gone to its greater reward. Not sure what happened, but my computer is telling me that it can't really talk to it anymore.

And, you know what? I didn't run out to buy another one.

I send out 99.9% of my proposals as pdf files. Most of my business communication is by email or phone. All my checking and bill paying is done online.

Actually, the biggest use has been to print out documents on paper so I could reference them while doing work on something related on my desktop.

So, I put my laptop on my desk when I need to cross reference documents and I'm going cold turkey into a paperless office.

On those rare occasions someone wants something as ink on dead trees, I'll head to the business center down the street.

I'll keep you posted on how this experiment goes.
